1955年ロンドン生まれ。現在オーストラリア、メルボルン在住。
ロンドンのクリエイティブ集団'tomato'の創立メンバーであり、芸術デザイン分野の活動は多岐に渡り、イギリスの音楽バンド'Underworld'の協同制作者としても有名。内外で数多くの賞を受賞している。
2004年以降、東京タイプディレクターズクラブの外国人初の会員として日本のデザイン・タイポグラフィにも造詣が深い。
現在、シドニーのユニバーシティ・オブ・テクノロジーの教授として建築デザインの教鞭をとる。
John Warwicker was born in 1955 in London and currently lives in Melbourne, Australia.
Warwicker is a founding member of 'tomato', a multi-disciplinary design and art cooperative as well as being a long time collaborator with the band Underworld' .
As well as being the recipient of numerous prizes and awards, Warwicker was made a foreign member of the Tokyo Type Director's club in 2004 and is currently adjunct professor of Architecture and Design at University of Technology, Sydney.
